Press Telegram reports that 52-year old Mary Jahn, a now former English teacher from Lakewood High School, has been charged with nine felonies including “four counts of sexual penetration by foreign object, three counts of lewd acts upon a child and two counts of oral copulation of a person under 18.”

Jahn allegedly began her relationship with a 15-year old female student in 2008 and continued for 3 years according to the District Attorney Troy Davis. The student, now an adult, told Long Beach police. Jahn did not enter a plea. Jahn is convicted, she faces up to a maximum of eight years in state prison.
