TMZ caught up with NBA legend Jerry West in Beverly Hills and the conversation started about Kobe Bryant and then went to more diversity in sports ownership:

“I don’t know if it’s embarrassing. I think it’s high time that we have ownership that is diverse in all sports. If people want to get involved. I think it would be great to see minority owners in a lot of different sports. Hopefully, that will happen.”

Rap mogul Diddy wants that change as well as he is speaking to investors about the Carolina Panthers. West, who is unfamiliar with Diddy, had no comment when TMZ asked about his Diddy’s opportunity.
