There have been many reports that Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant may be a free agent if he disagrees to restricting his contract. Bryant has let it be known that he will not take a pay cut.

Bryant will be making $16.5M in 2018 after a not so good season. The addition of Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott is a factor in Bryant’s declining stats. The 3-time Pro Bowler had 1,320 yard in 2014 and has dropped to barely making 850 yards per season.

CBS Sports reports that Cowboys VP admits that Bryant can be a “distraction” at times. On 105.3 the Fan in Dallas, Bryant called in:

“I just think it’s crazy. I’ll be straight up honest. I think everything I’ve got, I deserve. And I can get into way more details with that, but I’ll leave that up to when it’s time for me to sit down and talk with the Joneses – whenever that is”

Bryant also said it wouldn’t be right to play anywhere else.
