Former NBA and Memphis Tiger player Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway agreed to a deal to become their next coach per ESPN reports.

Tigers were 21 – 13 this season, 10 – 8 in their conference.

Hardaway played 2 years in Memphis before entering the 1993 NBA draft. HE was selected at third overall by the Golden State Warriors and then traded to the Orlando Magic.
