A former NBA player has been arrested for a violent home invasion per reports. James Edward “JJ” Hickson Jr., 29, has been charged with attacking a person and stealing $100,000 in a home invasion in Senoia Georgia per Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
He entered the teens home from a side door and attacked him Friday night leaving him with several broken bones including a broken nose. Two other people were involved according to Coweta police.
The Cleveland Cavaliers selected Hickson at the 19th pick in the 2008 draft coming from N.C. State. He played for several teams in his eight year career including the Sacramento Kings, Portland Trailblazer, Denver Nuggets and the Washington Wizard before going overseas.
