Gun violence is out of control this year and it continues.  We hear about shootings it seems like everyday and sad to say, some are just accepting them now.

After a firework display in Hartford Connecticut, a 19-year old opened fire as people were leaving. The man shot from the upper level of a plaza. No one was injured. He was charged with unlawful discharge of a fireman, reckless endangerment and breach of peace.

Per The Gun Violence Archive, when it comes to gun violence, recorded 28,420 incidents so far in 2018. This includes 7,074 deaths and 13,438 injuries. Mass shootings record at 154 and only 76 of those had no fatalities.
