One of the most famous cartoon shows ‘Rugrats’ is coming back to Nickelodeon with new episodes and a new film. Per E News, the live-action film will be released in 2020 and it’s written by David Goodman.

Nickelodeon approved of a new 26-episode series with the same exact characters.

Sarah Levy, COO of Viacom, said in a statement, “Rugrats is hands-down one of the most celebrated cartoons in TV history, and we are thrilled for a whole new audience to meet these iconic characters in brand-new adventures.”

The episodes will have new characters as well. Another hit cartoon show ‘Rockos Modern Life’ has a movie coming out this year.
