Connecticut man, Danueal Drayton, says that he actually liked the Queens nurse and didn’t want to harm her. He was told to.
Per reports from Newstimes, Drayton spoke with New York Daily News reporter and said he remembered killing Samantha Stewart and the voices in his head told him to.
“I really liked her. I didn’t want to kill her. They told me she had to die,” Drayton told the reporter. Drayton and Stewart spoke on Tinder and went out for some pizza and visited a race track. He later strangled her but tried to resuscitate her. He also claims that he left his cologne on purpose so police could catch him.
“I wanted to get caught. I took some of her things with me and used them. I kept my same phone. I knew they could track it. I didn’t know how long it would take.”
It’s believable as Drayton used Stewart’s credit card for a one-way ticket to California, where he met his next victim. Police arrived when he was raping and attempting to kill the woman.
Drayton was arrested in June for attacking his girlfriend when she dumped him.
Police are investigating Drayton’s claims that he killed several women in Connecticut and New York.
