It has been confirmed that Instagram co-founders 34-year old Kevin Systrom & 32-year old Mike Krieger are resigning in the next few weeks.

According to NY Daily News, the two plan to take time off and to create something again. They sold the app to Facebook in 2012 for $1 billion.

It was developed in San Francisco and the first photo was posted on July 16 2010 of a dog in Mexico and Systrom’s girlfriend’s foot.
