Starting next month, all Amazon workers in the U.S. will be making a minimum $15 an hour per reports. This increase will help more than 350,000 employees.
Amazon will also give employees already making $15 an hour a wage increase.
Jobs at Amazon range from advertising, human resources, finance to digital entertainment, customer service and content.
“We intend to advocate for a minimum wage increase that will have a profound impact on the lives of tens of millions of people and families across this country,” said Jay Carney, senior vice president of Amazon global corporate affairs.
As of September 4, Amazon’s market cap topped $1 trillion.
