The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, located in Cleveland, has selected inductees since 1986 for musicians, artists, producers, engineers for their achievements and major influence on the development of rock and roll. The foundation was made in 1983 by Ahmet Ertegun, Atlantic Records founder and chairman.
