We thought his time was up after leaving the Minnesota Vikings and getting tossed around in the league. Adrian Peterson finally found a new home with the Washington Redskins who are currently sitting on top in the NFC East.
With his addition to the team, the Redskins are 10th in the league in rushung yards and Peterson is 5th leasing rusher with his 604 yards and four touchdowns. Despite the new home, he still reminisces about the Vikings and hopes they make playoffs.
“It would be exciting. I can definitely say that. It would definitely be an exciting matchup. A lot of those guys that’s there still, I played with those guys before. It’s a great organization. Hopefully, it would be at home here, so get those guys out here in the chilly weather outside. But it would be fun to knock them out of the playoffs,” he told 106.7 in D.C.
Redskins will be in the playoffs if they continue to hold their spot in the NFC. Vikings are currently sitting as a Wildcard team.
