14-Year Old Jabez Spann Still Missing After Witnessing A Murder; The Suspects Were Never Arrested

The 14-year old was leaving his friends house when he happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Jabez Spann was leaving his friends house when 31-yeat old Travis Combs was shot dead in front of him on 22nd Street in Sarasota Florida last September according to reports. Spann supposedly said, “Oh my God, you shot him,” as two of the suspects ran on foot and another taking Combs car. A week later, after Spann left Combs candlelight vigil, he went missing.

55-year old Reginald Parker is the one who saw and heard Spann’s statement near the murder scene. He also told one person about the murder as he was in the area but denied it after he was interviewed by detectives. He also denied he spoke to the three people there who all have sworn statements with police.

His mother Tawana told reporters her neighbors have been less cooperative and some blame her son for missing. Tawana said some even said he should “have kept quiet” and “that’s why he got what he got.”

Even with this information, police claim Spann and Combs case are not linked.

It’s just a coincidence that the teen, who witnessed a murder and could probably identify the killers, disappears after leaving the victims vigil?

There’s a $50,000 reward for any information on Spann.
