A survey conducted by The Athletic asked NFL players who they feel is the most overrated quarterback in the league. How the survey works is 85 defensive players from 2 teams are asked to participate and it’s anonymous.
According to the survey, Minnesota Vikings Kirk Cousin is considered the most overrated quarterback in the league. Makes sense since the 30-year old is getting $84 million guaranteed and has played in one postseason game (2015).
The runner-up is Giants Eli Manning. Even with the two Super Bowls, many believe it was “pure luck” and that he’s not the ELI-te quarterback he’s hyped up to be.
Other quarterbacks on the list are:
- Blake Bortles
- Nate Peterman
- Joe Flacco
- Matt Ryan
- Matthew Stafford
- Tom Brady
- Derek Carr
- Andy Dlaton
- Dak Prescott
- Jameis Winston
- Sam Bradford
