Man Pays For 70 Homeless People to Stay in Chicago Hotel During -22 Degree Temperatures

A good Samaritan, not a celebrity, paid for 70 homeless people to stay in a hotel instead of outside in tents during a -22 degree night in Chicago.

Reports from Weather.com states that the offer came after Chicago Fire Department confiscated nearly 100 propane tanks given to the homeless in a vacant lot. One of the tanks exploded. No one as injured.

The Salvation Army were on the way to bring them to their warming center but the man paid for the hotel for the rest of the week.

The man’s identity is unknown.
