It’s been nine days since 33-year old Nipsey Hussle, real name Ermias Asghedom, was gunned down in the city that loved him.

While Los Angeles still grieves, new reports confirmed his death was due to gun shot wounds to the head and torso but also that he wasn’t declared dead until 35 minutes after the shooting.

Hussle was shot six times in front of his store by Eric Holder who is being held on a $5 million bond on murder charges. The shooting took place at 3:25 p.m.

The memorial for the Grammy-nominated rapper is set for Thursday at the Staples Center.
