
An officer-involved shooting in Danbury this morning left one man injured.
Per reports, a man was shot on Old Ridgebury Road around 10:48 a.m across from a storage center.
Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton confirmed the officer was unharmed.
Danbury and Connecticut State police are investating the shooting.
In January 2019, a man was killed in a Danbury officer-involved shooting. The man was 45-year old Paul Arbitelle who was holding a knife at the time of the shooting. The officer, Alex Relyea, has been with the force for four years.
