NFL.com reports that the Washington Redskins might release their star cornerback De’Angelo Hall.
Why? Because of course money issues — like most teams are having problems with with the new salary cap.
Hall is expected to make $8M this upcoming season and the Redskins are $3M over the cap. Will Hall take a pay cut? Who knows. But what we really don’t know is if the Redskins will give him the same ultimatum Ravens Anquan Boldin is getting, or just release him with no negotiations.
There is no problem with the new salary cap. The NFL has always had one, and salary cuts have have been apart of the game.
