NY Post reported that a gunman opened fire in the baggage claim at Fort Lauderdale airport today killing at least 3 people and multiple injured. The shooter was taken into custody according to reports.

There are several videos and images on social network of the incident. During the shooting, many people getting off the planes were told to stand on a tarmac as officials were not letting anyone inside.

Former White House secretary Ari Fleischer was at the airport when the gunshots started according to the Washington Post.
