Oklahoma City Thunders’ star Kevin Durant will donate one million dollars to the victims of the horrific and historical tornado that occurred yesterday afternoon in Oklahoma. I must say Durant is one of my favorite players — celebrities do donate but this is the first I’ve heard ONE person giving away $1 million, I applaud you Durnat.

CNN confirms that 24 people were killed, 9 of those children.

According to CNN, the storm had 191 mph winds with the F4 tornado. The path this tornado took was the same path tornadoes from before, like the 1999 tornado that was known as the most devastating in Oklahoma history.

At a Tuesday afternoon news conference, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin said the storm was one of the “most horrific storms and disasters that this state has ever faced.” – CNN
