The suspect in the Ohio State University attack ran into a group of pedestrians on a street corner with his vehicle before using a weapon to cut several people, OSU President Dr. Michael Drake said. The assailant used a butcher knife, OSU Police Chief Craig Stone said.
Ten people were hospitalized after an attack Monday at Ohio State University, Columbus Fire spokeswoman Rebecca Diehm said. Nine are in stable condition, and one is in critical condition, she said.

Gunfire erupted at Ohio State University on Monday morning, leaving at least seven people injured — one critically — and sparking an alert from police that ordered students to “run, hide, fight,” according to reports.
The suspected shooter was shot, WBNS-TV reported, citing local authorities.
Those injured, which included two in stable condition, were rushed to three area hospitals.
